A leading manufacturing company in Coventry is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a days-based role, offering a competitive salary and a stable working environment.

\nRole Overview:\n

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining site facilities, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of building systems.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

• Carrying out basic electrical maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.
\n
• Performing routine inspections and diagnosing electrical faults.
\n
• Using basic plumbing skills to support facility upkeep.
\n
• Applying general maintenance and DIY skills for site repairs and improvements.
\n
• Maintaining CCTV, fire alarm, and site security systems to ensure operational reliability.
\n
• Upkeeping lighting and emergency lighting systems.
\n
• Managing and maintaining the site drainage system.
\n
• Servicing and maintaining air conditioning and air handling units.
\n
• Conducting facility checks and inspections to identify maintenance needs.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and environmental requirements.
\n
• Carrying out PPMs on facility equipment and ensuring timely completion.
\n
• Assisting with building and facilities improvement projects.
\n

\nRequirements:\n

• Experience in a similar facilities maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
\n
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance skills.
\n
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, security systems, and building services.
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks effectively.
\n
