Renishaw require a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Technician, with a wide range of general building services skills, to join the Miskin site in South Wales.
The successful applicant will work a 37 hour week, initially on a standard day shift position - this is subject to change as the site activity increases and therefore requires a flexible approach to working hours from the applicant.
Responsivities
To carry out effective, proactive maintenance of the facilities and services for the site

To provide a high quality, reactive response to site and building faults and failures

To provide an emergency response to facility issues

Key requirements
A good general knowledge and relevant experience of factory and commercial building and systems repairs and renewals

General building skills

A good level of PC literacy

Desirable requirements
A time served apprenticeship

General knowledge of the following:
drainage and foul sewer

erection of stud plasterboard walls and partitions

plastering, tiling and decorating

suspended ceiling systems

knowledge of fire systems

Person specification
The successful applicant will be capable of working under their own initiative, with a good work ethic and excellent attention to detail in all aspects of given activities. They will have a high standard of quality and finish of work. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
