Facilities Manager My client has a state-of-the-art heavy engineering automotive component manufacturing facility based in the Belfast area. They are one of the global market leaders in their field and are based in over 60 countries across the globe. At the moment they are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to be responsible for managing, maintaining and improving all plant facilities.Salary is £42,000, pension 9%, 33 holidays, death in service, healthcare, sick pay and a subsidised canteen. Experience as a Facilities Manager within a manufacturing environment is essential for the position. Hours: Mon Thurs8.00am - 4.30pm Fri8.00am - 2.30pm Role -Facilities Manager Manage service contracts and continuously review the efficiency of providing services in house or by contract. Project-manage the installation, commissioning and working of facilities / energy improvement projects and ensure stakeholders are fully informed. Ensure an effective monitoring system for the consumption of gas and electricity throughout the plant. Reduce operating costs by driving suppliers and improvement projects Person -Facilities Manager Have attained a Building Services or Engineering qualification at HND level or equivalent At least 2 years experience within a plant manufacturing maintenance environment Experience of managing a team Experience of negotiating contracts Experience of managing contractors on site For a confidential conversation regarding this Facilities Manager job contact James Coulter.
