Factory Operative

As a Factory Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the workshop with general tasks to support production.
\n
• Measuring quality standards using a height gauge and making corrections with hand and power tools.
\n
• Gathering materials and assisting machine operatives.
\n
• Testing products in water pressure tanks to ensure quality.
\n
• Coating products in a specialist acid room – full training provided.
\n
• Supporting the lost wax process, a specialist technique used to create precision-engineered components.
\n
• For the right candidate, there is the opportunity to learn to weld or braze weld.
\n

Skills You Need to Have:

• A willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills.

• Attention to detail and a focus on quality.
\n
• Ability to follow processes and work safely with tools and materials.
\n
• Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
