The Role:
As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be responsible for delivering expert legal advice on a variety of family law matters. You will handle a diverse caseload, including but not limited to:
- Divorce and separation
- Child custody and visitation rights
- Financial settlements
- Domestic violence cases
- Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
- Co-habitation disputes
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and progressing family law cases from initial instruction through to conclusion.
- Providing tailored advice to clients in person, by telephone, or online.
- Liaising with courts, barristers, and other professionals to ensure successful case outcomes.
- Conducting negotiations and representing clients in mediation or court when necessary.
- Maintaining accurate case records and adhering to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Engaging in business development activities to contribute to the firms growth and reputation.
About You:
- A qualified Solicitor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law.
- Proven track record in handling a broad range of family law cases independently.
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- A client-focused approach with a high level of empathy and professionalism.
- Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, legislation, and procedural requirements in family law.
