Family Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Solicitor to join the Family department of a local firm that has served the local community of Liverpool for over 25 years.Based at their head office, the successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will join a highly professional and motivated team.
My client is open to consider a variety of candidates, from NQ's to more experienced solicitors that may even want to act as 2nd in command to the head of department as deputy.
The prime role of the Family Solicitor is to earn fees by advising on a wide variety of Family and Children law matters including both private and public, and to assist in building the Family Law portfolio. You are expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative, whilst communicating effectively with partners, colleagues, and clients.
Person Specification and requirements
Experience in advising on a variety of Family matters.
Strong time-management and ability to manage own caseload.
Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and experience of Legal Aid
