We are currently searching for a dedicated and professional Family Solicitor to become a valuable legal team member. The ideal candidate will possess a robust comprehension of family law and exhibit excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal forms. This position necessitates an individual who is not only well-versed in legal matters but also empathetic and capable of supporting clients during challenging circumstances.
The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse range of family law cases and demonstrate the ambition to advance the department. They should have experience in team leadership and collaborative work with the Principal Solicitor, as well as a proven ability to engage with client inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must have good interpersonal skills in client interactions and must be available for in-person client meetings as necessary.
Providing legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters,
Managing a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence ,
Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements,
Advocacy at court hearings and mediations on behalf of clients,
Negotiating settlements,
Communicating with clients to explain complex legal concepts appropriately,
Organise case files and manage deadlines to ensure timely progression of cases.
Collaborating with other professionals to provide support to clients,
Draft legal documents agreements, and court orders with accurately,
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting family law,
EXPERIENCE
Must be a qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate
Proven experience in handling family law cases
Strong knowledge of family law legislation and procedures
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Advocacy experience
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with clients going through difficult situations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Between £30,000- £36,000 per annum
