NonStop is partnering with a Organisation in the North of England and are looking for experienced Family Support Workers to make a difference to local service users and families.

Your Role:
As a Family Support Worker, you will be the cornerstone of support for families experiencing low-level worries about parenting. Your role will involve:
- Conducting Assessments: Identify the needs of families and develop customised support plans.
- Providing Practical Support: Help parents implement effective routines and boundaries, and offer extra support to those affected by mental health challenges.
- Regular Reviews: Conduct reviews every 6 weeks to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed.
- Short-Term Intervention: Oversee families for up to 3 months, ensuring they receive the support they need within a manageable timeframe. Extend support if necessary.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Background in supporting parents and understanding parenting strategies. Prior experience as a Child Protection (CP) Social Worker is advantageous but not essential.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to manage your own schedule and work independently.
- Empathy and Compassion: Strong desire to make a positive impact on families' lives.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel from the office to family visits (travel expenses provided).
