Farms Liaison Officer

Red Recruitment 24:7 is thrilled to be working on behalf of our client who are a leading agricultural organisation. They are seeking a Farms Liaison Officer to join their developing Agricultural Division.
You will be someone who is passionate about poultry to manage producer relationships whilst driving compliance for industry, retailer and brand standards across company and contract producer base. With development being a key focus of theirs, there is plenty of opportunity for the role to evolve as they do!
While this is a field based role, there will be a requirement to attend our clients Head Office based in Wiltshire for meetings and visits on an ad hoc basis.
The role:
Ensure produced egg is always compliant to be packed by ensuring producers have correct, accurate and up-to-date certification, standards and protocols.
Audit all sites to BEIC standard; advising and assisting producers in dealing with any non-compliances
Conduct 12 weekly visits to assigned sites to ensure we are meeting customer standards; advising producers on ways these can me maintained and upheld
Ensure all non-conformances are actioned, resolved and logged within agreed time frames
Aid and assist producers through external audits
Overseeing accurate data collection and logging of Key Performance Indicators
Work with Egg Supply Coordinator to manage data into databases and systems
Develop and maintain robust relationships with assigned producer base, whilst actively exploring potential producer partnerships
About you: Able work collaboratively
Self-starter and able to motivate themselves and others
Excellent communication skills
Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
Flexibility to travel nationwide, with occasional overnight stays
Experience/Skills required: Full UK Driving Licence
Degree in Industry / Agriculture / Food
Good knowledge of poultry procedures and practices
Proficiency with MS Excel and Word
Knowledge of auditing standards for: BEIC Lion Code, RSPCA
