FCL Import Operator - Basildon

Our client, a Freight Forwarder with offices in Basildon, have been operating since 1990, they are a privately owned British business with a passion for providing exemplary service within all areas of logistics, transport and supply chain.

They are looking for an Import FCL Operator to join their Import team.�

Duties will include:�

• Communicating with�customers, suppliers, shipping lines, hauliers, and depots to ensure a smooth operational process


• Handling FCL shipments


• Responsible for Ocean Freight Shipments, assisting occasionally with Air Freight shipments.�


• Tracking shipments for Imports


• Monitoring vessel arrivals to stay ahead of logistics and scheduling needs.


• Initiating and managing internal files to maintain organizational efficiency and document control.


• Generating invoices�


• Coordinating collections and deliveries

Skills Required;

• Experience working within Freight Forwarding industry, at least 2 - 3 years�


• Ocean Freight FCL Import experience


• Experience using software such as CNS, Multi Freight or Destin8


• Excellent communication skills


• Proficient in MS Office
