We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer with specialized expertise in radio systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, extensive experience in radio and infrastructure engineering, and a deep understanding of Unified Communications, Network, and IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and maintain DMR Tier 2 and Tier 3 radio systems, focusing on infrastructure, with proficiency in end-user devices.
- Program radio templates for various manufacturers such as Hytera, TAIT, Simoco, Motorola, Sepura, and Kenwood.
- Design and deploy DAS solutions in diverse environments like airports, tunnels, train stations, and shopping centers, including link budget calculations and detailed drawings.
- Perform preventative maintenance and fault activities on DAS systems, including PIM testing and RF cable replacements.
- Manage databases, networking topologies, and DMR/PMR software applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking products from Cisco and Ubiquiti, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Administer server hardware and operating systems, with experience in Linux and Windows administration.
- Configure switches and routers, manage protocols like LACP, NTP, Iptables/firewall, SSH, NAT, VPN, and work with virtual machines on VMware or Hypervisor.
Requirements:
- Clean driving license.
- 5-year employment/gap history for obtaining an airside pass.
- CSCS card (Green).
- SC Cleared advantageous.
- Commission Axell/PBE equipment for RF technologies including TETRA, DMR, Analog, VHF, and Cellular
