We re searching for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our newly created Field Sales team covering London inside the M25 , with regular visits to The Hydration Station office in Farringdon, London. Your mission will be to hunt for new business opportunities within the Food Service channel and spread the word about Vita Coco! IN A NUTSHELL, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Igniting demand and engaging potential Food Service end users and showcasing our products Conduct samplings to secure listings or demonstrate usage in current listings Build strong relationships with new and existing customers Represent Vita Coco at trade shows, generating excitement and new leads Driving growth within your assigned territory IN MORE DETAIL, THIS MEANS You ll be the face of Vita Coco within the Food Service industry Efficient planning and preparation for customer meetings to make the most of every interaction Seeking out new business opportunities and smashing negotiations Collaborating creatively with our marketing team to bring the brand to life through point-of-sale materials, engaging sampling activities, and creative eye-catching displays Achieving targets set like new distribution points, additional listings, successful brand activations Keeping your finger on the pulse of trends, news, and updates in the Food Service channel Regularly sharing progress, feedback, and insights from the field The job description is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake other duties in line with their ability and the changing needs of the business. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Experience in a people/customer-facing role An entrepreneurial mindset to manage and drive the success of your territory Ability to build relationships quickly, and influence leadership through presenting insights and commercial proposals A strong passion for selling and negotiating paired with resilience The self-drive to produce results and win new business Creative and a natural problem solver Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based environment Power user of Office 365 Willingness to travel around the UK Ability to lift and carry product samples and promotional materials as needed.
