Job Role: Technical Sales Manager / BDM
Location: Scotland (Remote)
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £40 - £45K, Company Car and Bonus.
Metalis are working with a company Head Officed in the Midlands who are looking to expand their presence in Scotland by bringing this new role to the business. You will be generating new business opportunities and creating long lasting relationships to drive forward profitability within the business. This is an untapped region for the company so you will need to be a self starter who is able to hit the ground running.
You must come from an Engineering background and be located within Scotland. Relocation & Sponsorship are not to be considered.
Job Duties:
Grow sales through direct interaction with existing customers and equally seeking out new business opportunities
Responsible for their own account base and customers, building relationships within them, and ensuring every order placed is to the highest standard
Responsible for and tasked with growing the customer account base and increasing sales within it, as well as having a proactive approach to generating new business customers
Converse politely and efficiently with customers ensuring high expectations are met and will be responsible for taking a lead or enquiry through from point of sale to delivery
Maintain a high level of service and reliability throughout all customer contact
Liaise with design and manufacturing teams to ensure projects are running on time.
Deliver client presentations and project proposals.
Proactively seek out new business opportunities and convert into orders
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of the Scottish market and customer preferences.
Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
Experience creating and presenting technical solutions
Knowledge of WorkHolding and Machining Systems.
Experience developing a new region.
Salary & Shift:
Hybrid - Flexible Hours
