Salary - £26,000 per annum +uncapped commission
Schedule - Full Time
Experience - Previous experience as a Sales Rep + UK Driving license
Gymkhana Fine Foods Retail are seeking a Field Sales Representative to join their team. With impressive financial backing from leading F&B investors and expansion plans in the UK, Middle East, and USA in 2024/25, we are looking for an exceptional Field Sales Leader to help drive our growth in the retail sector.

Gymkhana Fine Foods is a range of premium Indian pantry staples aimed at re-imagining and elevating Indian cooking at home. Born from the kitchen of the two-star Michelin restaurant Gymkhana in Mayfair, London, our products are fast creating a new category of premium Indian at home.
Since Gymkhana first entered the London dining scene ten years ago, it has transformed the way UK diners view Indian cuisine, maintaining its Michelin star every year and recently being awarded a second Michelin star in 2024. We offer cooking sauces, marinades, condiments, and meal-kits that deliver the same taste and rich depth of flavour as our restaurant dishes.
Our business has grown exponentially in just the first six months, with listings in Whole Foods Market, Ocado, Selfridges, and a recent launch of a concession and rotisserie residency in Harrods Food Hall.
The Position
Are you ready to elevate London's culinary landscape? As our Field Sales, youll be at the forefront of our mission to introduce exquisite flavours to the most discerning palates across the UK starting in London.
Field sales is a completely new space for Gymkhana Fine Foods to create, execute and develop the right model. The role will initially be 4 days out in the field establishing our field sales model through executing whilst developing the field sales model.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Generation:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory to meet and exceed sales targets.
Territory Management:
Plan and execute a strategic territory management plan, including setting goals, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
Store Engagement & Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
Wholesale Collaboration:
Working with wholesalers to utilize their sales teams and have a collaborative approach to growing the Gymkhana Fine Foods brand across London.
Trade Marketing:
Ensure the right tools, point of sale and placement to bring the brand alive. Provide insight to help to business develop the right tools to win in-store.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services and communicate their value effectively to clients.
Market Research:
Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential growth areas.
Reporting:
Create prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts, territory analysis, and progress updates to the Director of New Business.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the internal sales team, marketing department, and other stakeholders to align sales strategies and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE
Passion for Food:
A deep love for food, particularly Indian cuisine, and a desire to share that passion with others.
Sales Experience:
Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with retail partners.
Self-Motivated:
A proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility:
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Field Sales Experience:
Experience in delivering in a field sales role using CRM system/tools
Customer Management:
Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and driving sales growth.
Cultural Fit:
Driven, passionate, empathetic, and energetic, with a strong alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
UK Drivers License required.
