The main responsibilities are to provide technical support to the sales team by providing quotations and liaise with customers to ensure products are designed correctly, undertaking fault finding and electrical/mechanical repairs where needed.The role will be suited to an experienced Field service or installations and commissioning engineer that has experience using computer design packages such as AutoCAD to create technical drawings.The Role:Configure and test equipment before it leaves the workshopCheck and approve drawings for productionPrepare quotations and technical drawingsUpdate and refine old drawingsProvide technical support to other departments and customersCarry out site surveys prior to installation and as part of fault finding.Provide fault finding and system training to customers.Carry out fault finding and electrical/mechanical repairs.The Person:Electrical QualificationControl panel design experienceExperience using computer design packages such as AutoCADExperience working independently on siteAble to travel and work away from home occasionally
