Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Hydraulic, Mechanical Systems)

Location: Reading, Berkshire (Accepting Applicants from surrounding counties)

Salary: £33,(Apply online only)-£35,(Apply online only) base salary (OTE £42,(Apply online only)-£60,(Apply online only)pa)

Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-16.30 + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x

The client:
Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovate organisation based in the Berkshire area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the industrial cleaning machinery sector.

The package:

• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays + 1 additional day per year / up to 25 days + Bank

• Overtime paid before 08.00 @ 1.5x hourly rate, 1.5x hourly after 16.30, Optional Weekend Work First four hours on Saturday paid at 1.5x, 2x for every hour after. Sundays & Public holidays are paid at 2x hourly rate
• Operate in a 1.5 hour radius of your location with door to door paid
• Opportunity for training & progression within to a senior role.

The Duties:

• To attend breakdowns, service and  PPM’s on an array of industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry.
• The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns)
• To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems.
• To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
• Update job reports and order parts when necessary.
• Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed

The Requirements:

• Electrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous.
• Any previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding is Advantageous but not essential
• A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer.
• Experience using electrical & mechanical tools.
• Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or field based engineer. Any experience surrounding hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding & repair alongside some base electrical work
• Full UK Drivers License
