Field Service Engineer - Robotics

**Urgent UK based Field Service Engineer opportunity**

An exciting 12 month contract opportunity to support a forward thinking, innovative company who are making waves in the UK robotics and intralogistics markets.

With the ongoing success and continued growth of the global business, they are now in a fantastic position to have the opportunity to onboard a UK wide Field Service Engineer to support their growth.

There is remote support for diagnostics and fault finding with certain issues so you must have good mechancial experience of working on robotic products to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor multiple sites across the UK in order to track and manage machinery up-time.


• Work in conjunction with internal colleagues as well as external stakeholders to manage breakdowns and repairs for on-site robotic machinery. You will be client facing so must be confident and willing to represent the company in the best way possible


• Carry out robotic maintenance, both PPM and reactive repairs when and where needed


• Carry out root cause analysis of issues through use of diagnostic tools


• General troubleshooting both remote and on-site

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone that has related mechanical, and, preferably, some electrical experience in maintaining and repairing robots, used in distribution and intralogistics environments.�


• Experience in equipment installation, maintenance and site management would be advantageous


• Be able to use relevant diagnostic tools


• Must have a full UK drivers licence and your own tools & vehicle - mileage is paid


• Self-motivated and able to work under your own guidance and supervision

Covering the whole of the UK with overnight stays and possible occasional travel to Europe to support Engineering teams there

Working Monday to Friday - 8 hour days with the flexibility to cover additional hours where neeeded.
