Field Service Engineer - Solar Farm Operations & Maintenance

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a global renewable energy leader in solar developments and operations. Together we are looking for a Field Service Engineer for the operations and maintenance of large-scale solar farms across Cornwall.
The Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary up to �38,000 plus Company Vehicle + bonus + company benefits and progression and development.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Field Service Engineer, you will:

• Take full ownership of assigned sites, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to maintain optimum efficiency across assets.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures, actively taking part in risk assessments.
• Perform maintenance duties on electrical components, inverters, modules, CCTV, structures and monitoring systems.
• Manage relationships with sub-contractors and relevant parties.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 call out rota.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Recognised electrical qualifications, NVQ/ City and guilds.
• 18th Edition certification.
• Experience with inverter maintenance and testing/inspection certification 2391 advantageous.

Personal skills
The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn.
• Flexible to participate in a call out rota
• Full clean driving license.
