Job: Field Service Engineer

Salary: �14 to �18 p/h (Earning potential to earn between �40,000 - �50,000 annually depending on travel availability)
Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for travel and technical problem-solving? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated International Field Service Engineer to join a globally recognised team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automated machinery, offering the chance to travel extensively and work directly with clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and maintain Universal Converting Equipment machinery at client locations around the globe.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site to ensure machines operate efficiently.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems.
- Ensure all service activities meet company standards and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed service reports for each project.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in field service engineering (ideally with automated machinery.)
- Strong hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40% travel, with trips lasting 2-3 weeks).
- Must hold a valid passport and driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal is highly desirable.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
- Knowledge of international machinery standards and regulations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Door-to-door pay with enhanced overtime rates: 1.3x for regular overtime, 1.5x for Saturdays and the first 8 hours of weekend overtime, and 2.0x for Sundays.
