Role: Field Service EngineerLocation: South WalesAbout Rushlift LtdRushlift is a leading provider of innovative customer-focused solutions in materials handling equipment, mechanical services and fleet management. Rushlift provides impartial advice to enable customers to maximise the effectiveness of their industrial equipment fleets, through either long-term hire contracts or servicing and repair arrangements.In addition to providing all types of forklift trucks, from powered pallet trucks to wire-guided systems, Rushlift hires and maintains a wide range of industrial equipment such as sweepers, mobile plants, and lorry loader cranes.About the role:To service and maintain a range of materials handling equipment to a high standard, identify potential repairs/faults to ensure maximum reliability/uptime. Carry out PAT and lifting equipment inspections. Ensure all site health & safety and PPE rules are maintained and observed at all times. Your key responsibilities will include:Servicing, maintenance, and repair of materials handling equipment including forklifts, side loaders, reach trucksUsing our market-leading Fleet Management System to complete parts orders, job sheets and warranty workProviding a best-in-class customer experience for our business customersBook all Planned Maintenance with CustomerAgree workload with Field Service Team Leader prioritising as belowSG FleetChargeable ServicesKey Accounts i.e. National Accounts, Regional Major AccountsSupport Patch EngineersEnsure all chargeable services are completed each monthEnsure all fleet servicing is completed by the end of the monthEnsure daily telephone contact with Operations Controller to cover specifically:Service completionEstimate requestsDamage requestsClearing out WIPCarry out lifting equipment examinations, as and when required. Liaise with Field Service Team Leader.Carry out PAT testing, as and when required.
