£35,700This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest generator specialist in the South West. The role involves supporting the Service Department in the service and maintenance of customers' generators. A strong customer focus is essential, as the position requires liaising with both external customers and internal departments.The Role:Carry out planned service and maintenance work on customer generators.Service, fault find and carry out breakdown repairs to customers equipmentCarry out site surveys requests as required.Carry out duties on our company on call rota system currently 1 week in 10.Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles.Comply with all aspect of the company quality management standards, environmental management standards and occupational health & safety management best practice, proactively contributing to the companys continuous improvement programme.Experience/QualificationsPossess a relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Diesel Fitting/ Plant i.e. City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent OR proven experience servicing and repairing generator sets predominantly FG Wilson, Cummins etc.Possess good fault-finding abilities and strong communication skills.Holder of ECS/CSCS Card preferred.Benefits:23 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
