Reporting to the Operations Manager and a linchpin of the service engineering team. You'll have the chance to work on key systems on-board Royal Navy ships and submarines. You'll be at the forefront of representing Northrop Grumman to our customers and end-users.Our UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. As well as developing and supporting UK wide and internationally deployed multi-domain command and control systems, our work is critical to the modern backbone of the Royal Navy. We pioneer - with fierce curiosity, dedication, and innovation, we seek to solve the world's most challenging problems.'The field service engineering team are on the frontline of delivering and maintaining Northrop Grumman's capabilities to our customers.' - Max Eaton, Operations Manager at Northrop Grumman UK.Responsibilities:To perform service tasks across the UK and worldwide when required.Install, integrate and test existing and new products in support of programme executionConduct installation audits and generate installation audit reports for Customer acceptanceDiagnose / fix issues on naval platforms in accordance with in-service support contractsSupport Factory Acceptance TestsTo support other engineers with technical issuesRegular travel within the UK (predominantly Portsmouth and Barrow-in-Furness). Your travel will be supported by the use of a company car.To take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of other persons around youAs required, provide technical support to customers and/or other engineersTo be aware of and comply with Company Standards of Conduct and all relevant statutory requirementsTo carry out any other reasonable management requestBenefits:Our benefits including private health care, career development opportunities and performance bonuses.
