Field Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience of servicing and maintaining diesel generators? A leading generator solutions business is currently recruiting x2 Engineers to be based and work within the south of England, attending customer sites, carrying out testing and maintenance of the companies diesel generators and power solutions.Hourly rate is £18-20per hour door to doorOvertime paid at x1.5 over 40 hours and x2 on a SundayPaid call out rotation (also when on standby)As a Field Service Engineer your role will involve, but not not be limited to:Routine maintenance on various diesel generators to ensure optimal performanceDiagnose electrical and mechanical faults promptlyTroubleshoot on control panelsPerform Load Banking and mains failure testingIdentify and procure parts to maintain efficiencyGenerate detailed reports in line with established standardsCo-ordinate and schedule repairs and services, ensuring satisfaction and a timely resolution for customersSuitable Candidate:Apprentice trained Engineer to minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent within a maintenance qualificationExperience of maintaining diesel generators is essentialExperience with electronics and mechanical components, including but not limited t engines and alternatorsAbility to understand and complete risk assessmentsWorked within a fast paced environmentComfortable with communicating to customers both face to face and over the telephoneCapable to work with a variety of customers within various industriesThis role does involve occasional overnight stays as and when needed.Plenty of overtime available25+ 8 days holidayPrivate healthcareDeath in ServiceCompany vanExtensive training and development opportunitiesIf you are interested in this role, please 'apply now' via the job board or call Beki Bentley at the Derby officeJBRP1_UKTJ
