Field Service Engineer

Our client, a trusted name in forklift servicing and repairs, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Cranleigh.
Key Responsibilities:

• Travel across the Southeast, servicing and repairing forklifts for clients from Bournemouth to London and Kent.
• Work on a range of forklifts, including gas, electrical, and diesel models.
• Conduct fault-finding and repairs efficiently and accurately, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients during daily interactions.
• Ensure all work complies with strict health and safety standards.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, or relevant background with HGVs, forklifts, plant hire, or experience working on ships or within the Royal Forces.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to fault find and repair.
• Personable and customer-focused, with excellent communication skills.
• Willing to travel between multiple client locations across the South East.

What's on Offer:

• Competitive salary at �35,000, increasing to �48,000* with overtime.
• Uncapped overtime at time and a half after 8 hours, with paid travel (door to door).
• 40-hour workweek.
