Our client is looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer to join a market leading aluminium and PVC machinery company.



Reporting directly to the General manager you will be a key member in ensuring the companies clients are provided with the top service experience. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within your service region. You will be responsible for installations, service, repairs, and breakdowns of equipment on customers sites across the region. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role on the road within in a secure and stable company.





Main Duties:



Responding to service calls in the designated



Working on CNC Machinery - Up to 5 Axis including smaller machines such as double mitre saws, welders, and crimpers



Assisting with installations where required



Offering advice and technical support to Customers �



Fault Finding both Electrically & Mechanically



Reporting directly to the general manager



Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner





Requirements for this role:



Field Service Experience (Advantageous)



Electrical Qualifications (Desirable)



Fault Finding ability both Electrical and Mechanical



PLC Experience (Desirable)



CNC Experience (Aluminium and PVC Desirable)



Clean driving licence





Salary:



The basic salary will be dependent upon the competencies and experience of the appointed candidate. �45,000 base salary depending on experience + weekly overtime paid @ 1.5 hourly rate + quarterly performance bonus. Some weekend work is required and is paid @ 2 x weekly hourly rate



Company vehicle A Ford Transit Connect or equivalent with fuel card +all tools supplied



Bonus The job holder will be entitled to a bonus paid quarterly of the service contract revenue.



Holidays 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays (although 5 of those days are kept for Christmas) Employees are asked to make appropriate provisions to allow for a closedown over Christmas and the New Year.



Hours of Work Mon-Fri (phone number removed) includes travelling time - however working hours must be flexible to meet company requirements. Nights away and some foreign travel may also be required from time to time (for training) you must always maintain an up-to-date passport.
