Role: Field Service Engineer

Location: Haddenham

Shifts: Monday to Friday (8:30-17:30)

Salary: £35,000 -£40,000 + OT (OTE £50,000 - £58,000)

The Business:

My Client who I am proud to be representing are a family run business that have grown consistently since their inception around 30 years ago. Well known in their industry for being at the forefront of bringing new technology to market, they have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their team of 3 Service Engineers that cover the south of the UK.

This company really develop their Engineers with fantastic training given on site and by OEMs meaning that you can certainly realise your potential as an Engineer working for this firm. They also always look to progress people from within the business with the current Operations Manager having started life with the business as a Workshop Engineer. Hard work and dedication are rewarded with this business.

The Role:

The role of Field Service Engineer will include the following responsibilities:


  • Covering from Birmingham to the south coast, with a bulk of the workload being in London
  • Working Electrically and Mechanically on all the machinery within the companies portfolio
  • Fault Finding Electrically, working on three phase and single phase systems
  • Working from the workshop when there isn’t work to do on the road
  • Training customers on how to use machinery if there are gaps in their knowledge
  • Working an on call rota 1 in 4 weeks

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Field Service Engineer will be/have:


  • A valid drivers license
  • Be commutable to Haddenham and London
  • Have a Level 2 Engineering Qualification (minimum)
  • Have experience within an Engineering field
  • Happy working the majority of the time in London
  • Be confident working Electrically and Mechanically
