Field Service Engineer

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, providing top-notch engineering services on-site with customers. The role involves maintaining and commissioning various packages to meet the highest standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
£17.25 hourly rate
Overtime paid at half time and double time
Company flexibility and understanding
Working hours 8:00am-4:30pm Monday Thursday and finish at 3:30pm on a Friday
The Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
Carry out planned services and maintenance of company equipment
Fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues accurately
Identify specialist equipment and connectors needed for tasks
Use proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance
Ensure equipment is set up per contract customer specifications
Modify generator fleet as instructed by the Technical Manager
Attend equipment breakdowns and be part of the on-call rota system
Support team development through training and adherence to management systems
