Field Service Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Location: Midlands

nGenium has partnered with a trusted business in the pharmaceutical industry and through growth are expanding their engineering team. They are looking for a mid to senior level field service engineer with experience in, pharma, medical or life sciences and strong CAD skills.  

Your Role:

• Independently manage your own schedule and customer visits,
• Deliver exceptional on-site support maintaining the highest safety standards.
• Perform installations, commissioning, calibration, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Address technical concerns and collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions.
• Design electrical schematics using AutoCAD and provide accurate documentation.
• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

About You:

• 2+ years’ experience as a field service engineer in life sciences, medical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong ability to maintain, service and repair complex scientific equipment.
• Is proficient with Computer aided design (CAD)
• Is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Communicates effectively with clients and team members.
• UK Passport and full driving license
