Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance department. The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • \n
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with school policies.
  • \n
  • Support budget preparation and monitoring.
  • \n
  • Handle queries from staff, parents, and suppliers regarding financial matters.
  • \n
  • Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • \n
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
