Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced finance professional with excellent administrative skills? Are you passionate about supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Administrator to join our team at our vibrant and caring SEN school in Runcorn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records and systems in accordance with school policies.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitor spending to ensure financial targets are met.
- Prepare financial reports and provide support with audit preparations.
- Liaise with suppliers, staff, and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Maintain accurate student records in relation to funding and financial support.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team and senior leadership.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a finance or administrative role (preferably within a school or educational setting).
- Strong knowledge of finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- An understanding of or interest in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential.
