Finance Analyst
Salary: £28,700pa

Location: Blackburn
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join one of Simpson Judge's clients to work on a 5 year project over in Blackburn.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake project reporting for bids, both financial and against targets.
Provide support to Financial and Management Accountant on other project claims for the company
Undertake tasks allocated by the Head of Finance within the Finance Function to support the team.
Keep up to date with legislation relating to the finance function that may affect the reporting of financial information and taxation.
Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with the policies and procedures of the company and that accurate and appropriate recording of income and expenditure occurs.
Respond to any queries and requests for other staff members and external bodies in a customer focused manner.
Assist at company events which may require occasional evening and weekend working.
Support the finance team as required and especially in relation to IT issues and development of the accounting software.
Requirements
ACCA part qualified OR AAT Level 4
Proven ability in accountancy (minimum 2-3 years)
Proficiency in accounting software
Knowledge of Xledger accounting systems (preferred)
Must be immediately available

25 days holiday - increases yearly up to 30 days
1 day work from home after probationary period
