A wonderful opportunity to join a manufacturing SME at a time of growth and development. With a small dedicated, driven team you will work very closely with the two founders to develop robust business models, bring the whole finance function in house, set up the contracts, oversee HR issues and advise the Directors. As a qualified accountant with a proven track record in an SME ideally from manufacturing or a stock based environment. Duties will include:-
Duties of the Finance Operations Manager Role:-
Bring the whole finance function in house, liaising with the external accountants to ensure a smooth transition
Oversee month end including reconciliations and bank reconciliations
Detailed cashflow analysis on a daily basis
Analysing revenue and stock on a weekly basis
Produce detailed monthly management accounts and present to the Directors
Profit and loss, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Detailed budget preparation, liaise with stakeholders on monthly costs
Reconcile multi-currency payments
Small monthly payroll, handling any queries and on boarding new starters
Detailed financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, and reporting
Year end statutory accounts
Liaise with HMRC and resolve any queries
Send contracts to new starters, dealing with any HR issues as they arise and resolve
