Finance Assistant 6 Month FTC

NXTGEN are supporting a local well know professional services brand who a looking for a Finance Advisor to join their team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. If you're looking for an operational role within a dynamic finance team, this Finance Advisor position could be a great fit. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you'll be a key member of the wider finance operations team, which operates across multiple offices.

As a Finance Advisor, you will be involved in various aspects of financial operations, including managing transactions, supporting month-end procedures, and providing financial guidance to the wider team.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Advisor include:

• Processing Client and Office account transactions
• Conducting inter-account transfers and assisting with Purchase Ledger invoices
• Liaising with external clients regarding credit card transactions
• Supporting Month End procedures and bank reconciliations
• Inputting and maintaining accurate financial data
• Advising the wider team on accounting procedures
• Recommending process improvements and supporting new system implementations
• Producing financial reports as needed

The ideal Finance Advisor will have experience working in a legal or professional services environment, particularly in a high-volume transactional finance setting. They will possess a strong educational background and either hold or be working towards a relevant accounting qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications is essential, along with excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of delivering outstanding client service, both internally and externally.
