Finance Assistant 6 Month FTC

NXTGEN are supporting a local well know professional services brand who a looking for a Finance Advisor to join their team on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. If you're looking for an operational role within a dynamic finance team, this Finance Advisor position could be a great fit. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you'll be a key member of the wider finance operations team, which operates across multiple offices.

As a Finance Advisor, you will be involved in various aspects of financial operations, including managing transactions, supporting month-end procedures, and providing financial guidance to the wider team.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Advisor include:

Processing Client and Office account transactions
Conducting inter-account transfers and assisting with Purchase Ledger invoices
Liaising with external clients regarding credit card transactions
Supporting Month End procedures and bank reconciliations
Inputting and maintaining accurate financial data
Advising the wider team on accounting procedures
Recommending process improvements and supporting new system implementations
Producing financial reports as neededThe ideal Finance Advisor will have experience working in a legal or professional services environment, particularly in a high-volume transactional finance setting. They will possess a strong educational background and either hold or be working towards a relevant accounting qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications is essential, along with excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of delivering outstanding client service, both internally and externally.
