Finance Assistant - Charity Organisation

Role: Finance Assistant - Hybrid working

Salary: �27,000 - �30,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

Hours: 22.5 hours across 3 days per week (Tuesdays onsite necessary)

Location: Leeds, LS7 (street parking)

Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Manager in day-to-day financial matters.
• Handle supplier invoices, bank transfers, and reconciliations.
• Manage the sales ledger and check recurring invoices for new tenants.
• Maintain accurate accounting systems and financial records.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor tenant debtors and control income.
• Oversee financial processing and bookkeeping.
• Manage and maintain our client's financial software systems.

Requirements:

• Experience within a similar role.
• Experience using Quickbooks/Xero or similar accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and using initiative.
• IT literate, with advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using Excel.
• AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a charity or property/housing organisation desirable
