Finance Assistant (Central)

Role Purpose

To provide a high quality, end to end financial management service to the Head of Finance, Financial Director, Managing Director and senior management team of The Wilmott Group Ltd, WB Power Services Ltd and Wiltech Acoustics Ltd.

To provide effective line management, leadership and development to the Assistant Finance Manager and Finance Assistant and drive excellence in all financial and control related matters.

To work closely with other members of the finance and senior management teams to ensure that profit and cash are maximised, performance reporting, planning and business controls are delivered effectively.

Key Deliverables:-

• Postings for cash movements


• Bank reconciliations


• Postings and reconciliation of expenses system


• Preparation of information required for asset financing


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• Administration of company credit cards


• Post


• Ad hoc work as required

Person Specification:-

• Previous experience desirable


• Willing to roll sleeves up and get stuck in


• Desire to learn and develop


• Strong team and communication skills.


• Strong systems skills and experience in working with Mircosoft Office tools.


• Natural team based approach.


• Natural drive to improve things
