Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance Assistant (Freelance, 6-month Contract)
Location: Central London (Office-based 2 days per week)
Day Rate: £200/day
Contract: 6-month freelance contract
Are you passionate about numbers and have a knack for organisation? DNA Recruit are looking for a talented Finance Assistant to work within a dynamic team at a leading immersive experience production business and play a vital role in bringing world-class events to life! Our client specialises in delivering unique, thought evoking and interactive experiences and are looking for a Finance Assistant to support their finance function on a 6-month freelance basis initially, with a view that this could possibly be extended.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily bookkeeping duties.
\n
• Assist with month-end financial processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
\n
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
\n
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• \nQualifications: ATT Level preferred or equivalent qualification in accounting/finance.
\n
• \nExperience: Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role ideally within the theatre, production or immersive experiences industries.
\n
• \nSkills: Proficient in financial software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar), Excel, and general ledger functions.
\n
• \nWork Structure: Able to work in the office 2 days a week, based in Central London, with flexibility for remote work the remaining days.
