Harper Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside our client to find an experienced Finance Assistant who will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the Finance Team and wider business. The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Finance.
What will the role involve?

• Day to day processing of accounting transactions
• Processing bank payments, bank receipts, purchase invoices, monthly payroll journals and sundry other journals including depreciation and accruals.
• Posting and raising Sales Invoices
• Calculating and recording accruals and prepayments
• Submission of monthly VAT returns
• Maintaining fixed asset registers
• Monthly cashflow forecast

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in a Finance Assistant role or similar
• Experience using Sage
• I.T Literate including Microsoft Excel
• Highly organised and great at timekeeping

Additional Information - This role is fully office based in Sherwood, Nottingham. We will consider 4 days or 5 days around school hours for the right candidate.
