Are you a skilled Financial Assistant seeking a hands-on role in a dynamic family business?



Valeco Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an established company based in Edinburgh, who are looking for a dedicated Financial Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent full-time�office based position�offering a competitive salary up to �35,000 and free office parking.



About the Role:



As a Financial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the business. Your responsibilities will include:




  • Overseeing payroll processing for approximately 20 staff.

  • Conducting bank reconciliations and credit control.

  • Preparing accounts up to the trial balance stage.

  • Producing financial reports and analyses.

  • Managing pricing, invoicing, and other financial transactions.



Required Skills:




  • Proven experience as a Financial Assistant or in a similar role.

  • Strong financial accounting knowledge and skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
