Looking for a fantastic career opportunity in finance? We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant for an excellent business based in Bedford. This is a brilliant chance to showcase your skills and grow your career in a supportive environment. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days working from home.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processing of supplier and employee expense claims
• Monthly payroll procedures
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Bank statement reconciliations
• Month-end journal entries
• Intercompany journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in producing periodic management reports
  

Experience Required:

• Part/Qualified Accountant (AAT or equivalent) or qualified by fantastic experience.
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Xero
  

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary up to 30k

• 25 days holiday + BH (Rising to 50 days after 5 years!)

This role is conveniently located near Bedford, with easy commutes from nearby areas such as Milton Keynes, Biggleswade and St Neots.
