Finance business partnering is a relatively new type of position, its purpose is to provide operational leaders with the support and guidance necessary to make the best commercial decisions. Essentially, knowing the financial 360 position on a given course of action. Being the 'go to' person in this scenario means you need to know your stuff, be able to think on your feet and communicate effectively to non-financial personnel. And yes, this is a global business with turnover in the Billions! No pressure. You need to contact our team to find out more about this role and business, to apply you need to meet these requirements: Relevant undergraduate degree (2:1 classification or above preferred) Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) Experience in a finance role Expert knowledge of general accounting principles Knowledge and experience of financial systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel skills Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and a personable, friendly approach are important traits Flexible, well-organized, and able to deal with various stakeholders confidently Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to understand and interpret data Demonstrable ability to develop relations across different parts of the business Willingness to learn new things and an ability and desire to drive initiatives forward Ability to work under own initiative An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers Ability to work to tight deadlines Good team player Suitable candidates will obtain a full job description and person specification and be invited for a 121 pre-screening call.
