Finance Business Partner

On behalf of our well renowned client within the construction industry. We are seeking a qualified Finance Business Partner, We are looking for a high calibre individual who is comfortable taking ownership and is a strong and flexible team player. 

 

As part of a small team there will be regular interaction with colleagues from other functional areas of the business (and those in other group companies), as well as exposure to the Board.

We are looking for an individual and has the experience of producing monthly management accounts and reports (BU, UK and NL requirements), including information for board presentations

Management of the company balance sheet, supporting ledgers and accounting records including preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation pack

Production of year-end statutory accounts 

Liasing with and providing information to external auditors in support of statutory audit process

Preparation of VAT and other tax returns (e.g. CT, PSA etc)

Supporting the improvement and development of reporting systems and outputs

Integrity of financial controls, identifying areas for improvements and proposing solutions

Supporting other members of the team in forecasting and business planning activities 

Providing support to the business in improving working capital and cashmanagement

Ad hoc projects, including data analysis and manipulation

Provision of insight and technical financial guidance to business teams as required

It is essential you are a Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA) as applicants without this will not be considered 

Strong academic background (A-levels / 2.1 degree)

Experience of working with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central an advantage

Experience of using ‘non-Excel’ consolidation and reporting tools (e.g. OneStream, Power BI) an advantage
