Finance Data LeadHybrid role based in the North East 2/3 days per week onsite My Consulting Client is looking for a dynamic Finance Data Lead to join their team and take the financial systems to the next level.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Data Lead with extensive experience in finance systems to spearhead our clients data management initiatives.This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of their financial data processes. As the Finance Data Lead, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the financial systems, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting the overall financial strategy of the company.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust finance data management systems.Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across various platforms and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.Analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and streamline financial processes.Provide leadership and guidance to a team of finance data analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.Qualifications:Proven experience in finance systems management, data analysis, and financial reporting.Strong knowledge of financial systems, databases, and data management tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
