Finance Director

We have a current opportunity for a Finance Director on a permanent basis. For further information about this position please apply. Our client is a UK and international real estate investment and asset management business with holdings across the Midlands and in several other countries. They are at the stage in their evolution as a business that they need an additional finance resource. They have concluded that they need to employ a senior finance resource who has had plenty of exposure to commercial finance matters, who is interested in real estate transactions, and has conducted some typical activities that a senior Finance Director might handle such as tax, loan finance, treasury and transactional activity. In short, an experienced real estate finance director with quite a few years expertise to show for their efforts. Typical responsibilities will be. Establishing a network of capital and joint venture partners to help grow the various asset classes. Be central to development and investment financing and managing a debt book. Work with the Board to ensure that the senior leadership team is refreshed, improved, and enhanced in terms of personnel and responsibilities. Be an active senior manager and be capable of working as a right-hand person to the Board. Show experience of running a property company as a Finance Director that has done investment, debt and is familiar with holding assets long-term. Someone who has experience of dealing with JV partners, equity, joint ventures to set up such frameworks. In short, the client is looking for someone who is well established, wise, and capable but with the energy & drive to deliver the goods in all the above areas.
