Finance Director Wanted! Join a Thriving Retail Agency!

Are you a highly experienced Finance Director searching for an exciting opportunity in the retail industry? Look no further! Our client, a dynamic and innovative agency, is seeking a Finance Director to join their team. As the Finance Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving financial success and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (potential to flex slightly higher for the ideal candidate!)

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of financial management, including AP and AR processes, customer billing, and supplier purchasing, all while adhering to contracts and best practises.
Oversee regular financial routines and processes such as payroll processing, stock reporting, and expense management.
Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory accounts returns, VAT Returns, and other tax reporting requirements.
Manage outsourced payroll and maintain financial systems and tools, seeking continuous improvement for increased productivity.
Lead financial training across the organisation to ensure compliance and knowledge of relevant systems and processes.
Management of a Finance Executive.
Ensure accurate financial records and lead the submission of audit information.
Implement and manage cash flow management processes, providing regular updates to the Executive and Board functions.
Develop proactive management strategies to maximise free cash flow and drive business solvency.
Provide accurate and timely management reporting, supporting the Executive teams in budgeting and forecasting.
Lead and inspire a team within the Commercial Team, promoting a positive working culture. Required Skills and Experience:

Extensive real-world experience as a senior financial manager.
WIP Management experience is ideal.
Experience in agency or services businesses (retail trading experience a plus!).
Demonstrable technical accounting capabilities, along with relevant qualifications and accreditations.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders. Why Work with Our Client?
