Finance Director

Keen to capitalise on considerable new business opportunities, they are looking to appoint an entrepreneurial and ambitious Finance Director to join the senior management team and support them through a period of tremendous change, opportunity and growth. You need to be comfortable in an SME environment where you will have a wide and varied role and be expected to make a contribution outside of purely traditional finance areas.
This is a challenging, high profile role, combining the need for a practical, hands-on finance professional, prepared to tackle fundamental operational issues, with the intellect and credibility to develop long term business objectives and to operate at the highest level within a dynamic, multi-site international engineering / manufacturing business.

Reporting to the Group CEO and leading a dedicated multi-site team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategy, and the production, consolidation and delivery of financial information at both individual site and Group level. This will include providing forecasts and meeting statutory requirements whilst overseeing the continued development of the company's financial and strategic planning systems.

Professionally qualified and computer literate, you will have gained your experience within a fast moving manufacturing environment where you will have demonstrated the ability to anticipate and meet the changing needs of the business, working closely with your not so financially literate colleagues to identify and introduce relevant reports and processes to help them better understand their numbers, supporting them to make an even bigger contribution to company success in the future.
