An exciting and leading FMCG organisation are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager on a 12-month maternity cover basis. This role will have a close working relationships with the FP&A team and support the business providing sales data and reporting, as well as monitoring and managing the overhead spend whilst being in control of the internal budgeting process. Duties and responsibilities for the successful Finance Manager: Responsible for the monthly accounting cycle ensuring adherence to the closure timetable, liaising with the FP&A team to ensure management reports are prepared and issued to all stakeholders Oversee the full month end process alongside the Financial Controller Responsible for the inventory valuation within the business, understanding product cost build, understand the physical movements and action any revaluations and write-offs that may occur Improve the financial processes and controls throughout the organisation ensuring all processes and procedures are documented in the Accounts manual Support the annual audit including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and tax pack completion for the external auditors Oversee the Transactional finance team of two Oversee a team of 2, driving best practise in the teams Ideal background and experience for the suitable Finance Manager: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Ideally have line management experience Strong Excel skills Technically strong Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders within the business Can do attitude
