Job Description Here at ASOS, working in Finance means working collaboratively with the business to deliver our mission. Simply put, the role of ASOS Finance is to build and protect business value. As a team, we enable ASOS to be its best self by: Driving long-term growth, profitability, and free cash flow Implementing brilliant processes and controls, levering lean, automation and data science Ensuring ASOS delivers its shorter-term goals Building a leading team and defining new ways of doing finance Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies This role is responsible for forecasting, analysing, and reporting on stock, alongside intake and provision positions. You will work closely with the Merchandising Director, Financial Director of Control and Global Planning, as well as the buying and merchandising teams to review performance of these metrics and drive forward business understanding. You will also be responsible for the development of your team. The Details Managing and developing a team of two. One senior finance analyst and an analyst Acting as a finance business partner to the merchandise planning, and global planning along with other commercial functions to understand the stock health position and use this to inform commercial analysis and stock provision requirements Building a strong understanding of our inventory management and working alongside the business to assess financial impacts of decisions surrounding stock, supporting analysis on routes to exit. Forecasting stock provisions, stock write off and other key stock lines, whilst monitoring any risks or opportunity against the forecast Updating senior management on intake performance and providing insightful analysis on business division outlooks Leading the stock write off programme, ensuring appropriate cost tracking against new operational model and exiting stock in the most profitable way, working closely with Global Planning Driving and managing the RTP process and standing over Stock and Intake line submissions Working closely with the Financial Accounting and Warehouse teams to manage month end and the overall story of the drivers of performance Analysis and modelling for stock businesses cases particularly for new potential jobber routes, utilising the profit model to inform business decision making and help conduct commercial analysis once launched. Qualifications About You Ability to analyse and interpret financial data, draw conclusions and make recommendations Strong communication and the capability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and line management skills Financial modelling and use of financial and reporting systems (MS Excel, SQL Server, Microstrategy, TM1, Dynamics all preferred) Excellent presentational skills (MS PowerPoint) and confident presenting to senior management ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Additional Information BeneFITS' Employee discount (hello ASOS discount!)
