In the Finance Manager role, you will be:
- Providing financial support and overseeing budget preparation, monitoring, and control for varied services, ensuring compliance with established policies
- Supervising and guiding accountancy assistants, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery.
- Maintaining and reconciling ticket sales data and revenue recognition, along with financial advice and business reports
- Ensuring compliance with financial legislation and minimising financial risks.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- At least 10 years experience in an accountancy / financial based role
- Relevant Professional Accountancy Qualification (CCAB, preferably CIPFA)
- Experience managing large, complex budgets and explaining financial issues to non-financial managers
- Proven ability to manage and motivate staff, and provide training and development
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and IT skills, with experience in using spreadsheets and databases
This is a full time (Monday to Friday), temporary position for initially 2 months, which is to be reviewed. You'll be working in modern offices in Colwyn Bay and starting on a salary of £18.05 per hour plus benefits including weekly pay, and Corporate Ffit Conwy discounts.
