Harper Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a well-established, successful business with an excellent reputation! Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to motivate and lead their finance team.

What will the role involve?

• Motivating and leading a finance team.
• Providing clear direction and guidance for a team with varied skill levels.
• Delegating tasks effectively.
• Identifying training gaps within the team.
• Ensuring the Accounts team adheres to best practices and maintains high standards of accuracy.
• Communicating with Directors, providing reports and updates
• Preparing monthly management accounts, including supporting reconciliations.
• Monitoring sales and purchase ledgers, providing necessary authorisations.
• Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and support the annual audit process
• Managing day-to-day cash flow.
• Overseeing the annual budget process.
• Submitting monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC.

Who are we looking for?

• Team management experience is a must
• AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
• Advanced experience using excel and reporting
• Experienced in daily, weekly, monthly and annual accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
